Personal Story
David Gereghty’s story is one of faith, formation, and freedom. Born and raised in Northern California’s San Francisco Bay Area, David grew up as the second of seven children in a Christian home where knowing Jesus personally was more than a belief system—it was a way of life. From a young age, he experienced a genuine closeness with God, giving his life to the Lord as a child, being baptized in the Holy Spirit at eight years old, and later baptized in water at his local church.
At his core, David is a worshiper—a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and intercessor whose life has been deeply shaped by prayer, worship, and a daily conversation with God. In his twenties, he attended the School of Intercession, a formative season of biblical training that deepened his understanding of God’s ways and the power of praying His will on earth. That season eventually led him overseas to Moscow and South Africa, where God stretched him beyond what was familiar and taught him a deeper dependence on Him.
But beneath David’s years of worship leading, ministry involvement, and creative expression was a quiet battle with fear and identity. Although he carried dreams, ideas, and a sense of calling, he often wrestled with questions like, “What if I’m not enough?” and “What if I fail?” For years, fear felt like a shelter—but God began to reveal that it was actually a ceiling. Through a journey of surrender, healing, and renewed identity, David came to know God as the God of the Impossible and began learning to live from possibility rather than limitation.
Today, David lives in South Carolina with his wife, Leslie, and their two daughters, Calleigh and Caitlin. His life continues to be anchored in faith, family, worship, and helping others step into the fullness of who God created them to be.
Mission
David’s mission is to help people discover their identity, release their creativity, and fulfill their God-given calling. Whether through writing, worship, teaching, coaching, or creative strategy, his heart is to see people move from fear into freedom, from limitation into possibility, and from concept into completion.
At the heart of everything David does is a simple desire: to love God, uplift people, and help others courageously become who Heaven already says they are.
Current Work
For more than thirty years, David has served people and the Body of Christ through a unique blend of ministry, business, and creative leadership. As founder and CEO of Tree of Life Global Services, LLC, he equips entrepreneurs, ministries, and authors with practical tools and biblical strategies to launch and grow their visions with clarity and confidence. His work spans web design, branding, publishing, mentorship, leadership development, and spiritual encouragement.
David also leads Global Tabernacle of David, a nonprofit worship movement committed to raising up worship leaders around the world for 24/7 day-and-night worship of Jesus. As a worship leader, prophetic minister, teacher, author, and creative mentor, David’s message centers on spiritual renewal, creative stewardship, breakthrough living, and the truth that with God, the impossible becomes possible.

One of David's significant publishing contributions is the title "The Man Who Would Be King", a compelling exploration of identity and leadership.
